At a press conference on September 6 on the theme of "Yichun this decade", the director of Yichun Lithium New Energy Industry Development Center, Lv Jun, said that over the past ten years, the lithium industry, as the first industry in Yichun, has been developing for many years, especially in the last two years, the successful introduction of Ningde Times (455.010. -18.91, -3.99%), Guoxuan Hi-Tech (34.400, -0.74, -2.11%), BYD (281.310, -1.39, -0.49%) and other head enterprises, the industry has entered a phase of accelerated development, and Yichun City lithium new energy has formed an industry cluster of initial scale. First, the production of lithium carbonate has been rapidly enhanced. Through technical research, lithium mica resources have been successfully transformed into high-quality resources that can compete with overseas lithium pyroxene, breaking the passive situation that China's lithium ore resources rely heavily on imports. Last year, lithium mica as raw material to extract lithium carbonate enterprise production of more than 85,000 tons, accounting for 28% of the country.

Secondly, there are many highlights in the production of various materials. Zichen Technology occupies a leading position in the field of high-end anode materials; Tongrui lithium diaphragm project using the world's leading wet technology, the technology is a breakthrough in the development of China's manufacturing industry constraints of one of the 35 card neck technology; Mingguan New Material (65.270, 1.02, 1.59%) has more than 30 patents for the invention of aluminum-plastic film, breaking a number of foreign technological monopoly, is now accelerating capacity expansion.

Thirdly, the production of lithium batteries is blooming at multiple points. Yichun Times battery factory project invested 13.5 billion yuan in the first phase, the production capacity will reach more than 70GWh by the end of 2024, and the annual output value will exceed 50 billion yuan; Jiangxi Guoxuan invested 11.5 billion yuan to build a 30GWh lithium battery and PACK production base project; Qingtao Energy independently developed solid-state lithium batteries and built the world's first large-scale mass production line of solid-state power lithium batteries.
