On October 19, BMW Group announced a strategic partnership with Vision Dynamics, a subsidiary of Vision Technologies Group, which will supply cylindrical batteries for BMW's new generation models starting in 2026. At the same time, Vision Dynamics will build a battery plant in South Carolina, USA to supply the BMW Group's Spartanburg plant in the same state, with a planned capacity of 30 GWh.
